HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY (Bay News 9) Two of the three men accused of stabbing and burning a man to death in a Brandon trash bin appeared in court Thursday morning,[url=http://www.masterclass-detailing.co.uk/category/ralph-lauren-polo/]Ralph Lauren Polo[/url].
Brendan Lee Terry,[url=http://www.masterclass-detailing.co.uk/category/polo-outlet/]Polo Outlet[/url], 20, Kasey Lee Ackerman, 20, and David James Link II, 18, all of Brandon,[url=http://www.article-web.co.uk/category/hermes-belts/]Hermes Belts[/url], were arrested late Tuesday night after questioning by detectives.
The victim has been identified as Robert Mason Brewer, 26,[url=http://www.article-web.co.uk/category/hermes-birkin-bag/]Hermes Birkin Bag[/url], of Valrico. There was no immediate indication when he would appear in court.
Meanwhile, an eyewitness to the murder spoke to Bay News 9 Wednesday on condition of anonymity,[url=http://www.article-web.co.uk/category/discount-hermes-bags/]Discount Hermes Bags[/url], saying he was involved in the incident because he was forced at knife point.
"The only reason I had any part in this is because we were at knifepoint," the witness said.
The eyewitness said the three suspects met the victim and became friendly at the Brandon Town Center food court Monday afternoon.
Robert Brewer,[url=http://www.masterclass-detailing.co.uk/category/ralph-lauren-polo-outlet/]Ralph Lauren Polo Outlet[/url], 26, was stabbed multiple times before being burned alive in a Brandon trash bin.
He said the victim had just gotten out of jail and was looking for drugs.
Officials said the victim agreed to return to the suspects' apartment on Brandon Manor Court. Once there, the victim consumed Xanax and became incoherent,[url=http://www.masterclass-detailing.co.uk/category/cheap-polo-shirts/]Cheap Polo Shirts[/url], passing out in a chair in Ackerman's bedroom.
That's when, according to the witness, Ackerman and Terry began stabbing the victim in the neck and chest.
"I don't understand it,[url=http://www.article-web.co.uk/category/hermes-online-sale/]Hermes Online sale[/url], but he flipped," the witness said. "Kasey walks out to the kitchen and grabs three knives grabs two for him and hands one to Brendan and he says, 'I'm going to get him, I'm going to get him.'"
According to the witness, the victim was taken to the bathroom and placed in a tub, where the stabbing continued.
Some neighbors heard the commotion.
"It sounded like a circus, banging on the walls," said Sondra Marciniak, a neighbor. "You could hear stuff dropping. It was crazy."
The witness says a short time later, he and 18 year old David Link were forced to buy gasoline at knife point. They left the apartment and returned with $3 worth of gasoline.
The suspects placed the victim on a piece of plastic, put him in a duffle bag and used a dolly to take him to the trash bin. The witness said the victim was still alive at the time.
"I could hear him screaming because he was dumping the gas on him. I thought he was dead but he wasn't," the witness said.
Officials said the suspects put the victim in the trash bin and set it on fire.
Sheriff's detectives made contact with the suspects later in the day.
According to detectives, Ackerman admitted to the stabbing because the victim got too close to his girlfriend in the apartment. Officials said Link admitted to his part in the murder as well.
The witness also said Ackerman's girlfriend had her 3 year old son in the apartment at the time of the crime. That child is now staying with his grandparents.
