I don't know if you already explained that but as I am not a musician nor a singer I have some questions about the way you are recording.
Why are you recording the way you are instead with all the musicians and singers. Is it a matter of schedule or space, or is it easier then to mix all the different parts ? I am not understanding everything on that matter but I really like to know.
Do you think I am too curious ?

Claire, I think it's probably easier to record each track separately than to do it all together. It's easier to make corrections and enhancements with one track (one voice, instrument, etc.) than it is to have everybody do everything all over again. At least, that's what we did on the recordings I've been in on. I'm sure it's probably different in the big-time professional world though.
