40 Film Collection

That right,[url=http://www.article-web.co.uk/category/hermes-belts/]Hermes Belts[/url], 40 films that star and are occasionally directed by the living legend, Clint Eastwood. Most actors only dream of having a career as long and as diverse as Mr. Eastwood There is everything here from gritty westerns, war pictures,[url=http://www.article-web.co.uk/category/hermes-online-sale/]Hermes Online sale[/url], comedies, sci fi,[url=http://www.article-web.co.uk/category/hermes-birkin-bag/]Hermes Birkin Bag[/url], and an unstoppable one man police force. As I looked through this brick of movies,[url=http://www.article-web.co.uk/category/hermes-handbags/]Hermes Handbags[/url], I was plagued with a horrible situation. How does one cover 40 films from one actor? The majestic part of this collection is that they were all released by Warner Brothers.
Now, to be fair,[url=http://www.masterclass-detailing.co.uk/category/ralph-lauren-polo-outlet/]Ralph Lauren Polo Outlet[/url], there are only 38 feature films here. Warner brothers has included 2 documentaries on the man, the myth, and the legend that is Eastwood. Here are the titles in the box set in no particular order.

The Outlaw Josey Wales (31)
One of the most realistic westerns ever brought to screen (or at least you hope so),[url=http://www.article-web.co.uk/category/discount-hermes-bags/]Discount Hermes Bags[/url]. Eastwood plays a Confederate solider who watches his entire company get slaughtered as they are surrendering. A reckoning happens and Eastwood is the man on the pale horse,[url=http://www.masterclass-detailing.co.uk/category/ralph-lauren-polo/]Ralph Lauren Polo[/url]. It a classic if there ever was one.
Heartbreak Ridge (16)
Eastwood is at his best as an old Gunnery Sergeant about to retired. He gets one last chance to be a real Marine as he straightens out a bunch of screw ups. The film is a perfect mixture of one liners and brothers in arms. Though some might see it as a war picture, Eastwood delivers laughs and drama in this well rounded picture. There is something here for everyone. Yes, even the ladies.
White Hunter Black Heart (38)
In a fictional telling of the real story behind John Houston filming of The African Queen. Here Eastwood plays and we witness his obsession with Africa. We also learn that his sole purpose for shooting in Africa was to go big game hunting. It a great film for anyone that loves John Huston movies and the real stories about how movies get made.
Every Which Way But Loose and Any Which Way You Can (13 and 7)
The one with the Orangoutang, Clyde,[url=http://www.masterclass-detailing.co.uk/category/cheap-polo-shirts/]Cheap Polo Shirts[/url], and it subsequent sequel, said.
Letters from Iwo Jima (22)
Eastwood, at first, didn't give faces to the American troops, which I think was wise. He only showed faces when it was necessary to the story at hand. Much like Flags of Our Fathers, the film shows us the brotherhood of combat and the insanity of war. However, in Letters from Iwo Jima, we see men fighting for a cause that they know is hopeless and a country that is ready to fall. We see how each man deals with it in his own way and we are told the story of a simple baker who promises his unborn child that he will come home. Letters from Iwo Jima made me see the world from a different perspective and that is its most powerful weapon. There are two sides to every story and we are given both sides of the story of what happened at Iwo Jima.
Trouble with the Curve (34)
I haven seen this one yet, but when I mentioned this box set to my Dad he immediately asked me for the film. He thought it was a good picture and Amy Adams is perfect as Eastwood daughter. It a good sign that this might be a perfect box set for Father Day.
Dirty Harry (12)
The quintessential Clint Eastwood picture. It is surprising now to watch the picture again after seeing David Fincher Zodiac. Real police work may not be all that glorious, but here we are presented with over the top popcorn entertainment. Thankfully, the sequels are here as well. Personally, I like The Dead Pool (28). Eastwood uses a giant harpoon on someone and it features Liam Neeson and Jim Carrey!
This treasure trove of films is a great box set and huge addition to your library. There aren many worthwhile box sets out there, but this one makes the cut. A perfect for gift Father Day if ever there was one.
