Cleto who was unconscious due to an injury to the head, was later transferred to the Intensive Care Unit of the Georgetown Public Hospital in a critical condition  where he subsequently died around 06:00 hrs on Monday.Police are investigating the incidents and murder charges are likely to be laid soon. The accused inmates are currently isolated from the general population.Cleto and Adams were incarcerated for murdering Nizamudeen Khan, a security guard attached to a Rosignol sawmill.The men were employed at the sawmill and had resided in the compound. They had allegedly gone out to celebrate a colleague?s birthday and upon their return had a misunderstanding with Khan, the gate man, who refused to open the gate.Khan subsequently opened the gate and when the men entered they allegedly dealt him several blows about the body with pieces of wood.
