Hello everybody!

I know it's been some time since the last news.... That's why I am writing this.
I have been very busy with millions of things. Started e new business line - recording film music for clients. It is a large operation, new clients are coming in all the time and I hope things will go better and better.

I have started working on a PHD in music. If things go my way, I might become a doctor in a couple of years.

I am working on my apartment in Bulgaria. Sofia is a fine city and I enjoy every minute I spend there.

There has been some initial talk about the new BA album. Hold on everybody for a serious turn in style - the next one might be very, very progressive, with lots of playing and more complicated song-structure. Generally, the accent will fall heavily on high musicianship.

Right now I am very busy with working on the new rock opera. It will be called Nikolo Kotzev's DRACONIA. I have written the story myself and my webmasters have just put iup a basic foundation for it's website. There will be general info there, forum and so on. I would appreciate if everyone joins the forum, as the idea is to work interactively with the fans, ask for ideas and opinions etc.etc.... I am about halfway with the writing. The singers will be eight - five male and three female. The songs will be 23. I guess the opera will be released in two different parts.

Please, visit this forum for news and for the link to the Draconia website.
I will send the news to everyone on the BA and Nostradamus mailing lists.

So, stay well and don't be strangers to my forums - I check them regularly and try to answer questions whenever you have any.

Nikolo

Hi there Nikolo,

It's great to hear from you. You are a very busy man indeed. Are you thinking of permanently moving to Bulgaria?

I must admit, being a lover of soundtracks myself, I had hoped you would do something in that area.
Would it be possible to add a section to the website with other albums you have worked on e.g. as a sound engineer, co-writer, guest musician, etc.? Perhaps add some audio files? I would love to hear some of your film music.

The next BA album will be very exciting! You and Nelko will make a great team.

Will you start recording the first part of Draconia before you have finished writing all the songs? I'm dying to know who will be working on the new rock opera.

Good luck with your PHD; I hope you can find enough time to make that a success.

I wish you all the best with everything you do.

Stay well,
Annemie

Hi again,

Regarding Draconia: It is a very big project and at the moment I cannot reveal information about the singers, because I haven't decided who will sing.
I will probably write the entire work before I commence recordings - it is much more practical like that.

I might concider recording it in two big periodes of time.

Right now the highest priority for me is to launch the Draconia website, so I can start to work on estabishing an interactive relation with he fans. This will hopefully help me expand the fan base. I would also like to receive peoples opinions on a wide array of subjects concerning the Draconia project.

Best regards:
Nikolo

Hey Nik,

It's been a while. Can't wait for the next album to take on a Progressive edge. I'll be excited for that.

As for this Draconia project that too sounds exciting.

All the best from Middle Earth (NZ)

Fabian.

PS - My Resurrection was incredible. Ten thumbs up. Losing John, Mic and Ian hasn't hurt one bit. Gotta love the fact that Europe have gotten back together though. Peace.
