Haynes was arrested at the Georgetown Public Hospital as he was waiting while she received treatment in the Accident and Emergency Unit.It was Hayes who inflicted the injury and he took Ward to the hospital for treatment while telling persons that they were attacked and robbed.Hayes was charged and subsequently released on bail. This newspaper was told that Ward then indicated to the police that she did not wish to pursue the matter.
