Bummer. It less fun, but will still be fun. My daughter, which is 4, is going trick or treating as a dead bride. It was her choice and it kind of shocked us, but we going with it. Our 1 year old son, is scared to death of all the scaries so we not sure how we manage to do things, but we typically go trick or treating at retirement and assisted living homes because it safer for my kids and it brings joy to many of the residents.

Sometimes I go to a bar because that all there really is to do around here without more than one friend. When I was in college, we held a children Halloween party for kids of students. That was a lot of fun. I haven had any trick or treaters come to my house for a long time. I always go pumpkin picking every year for Halloween and pick out the biggest baddest pumpkin. Pumpkin flavored everything for a while!!! :) I too old to go trick n treating and I live in an apartment so I don have candies to give out except to my SO who is a candy hog. I just got him a bag of corn candy yesterday and he finished it already.
