Driver Side Air Bag Simulator
NOTE: By disconnecting RCM C233,[url=http://www.sacvanessabruno.fr/]cabas vanessa bruno[/url], circuit 1257 (WH/LB) and circuit 1258 (BN/LB) of the RCM connector are shorted together with a shorting bar. Do not remove the shorting bar. NOTE: Zero the multimeter prior to taking the measurement. Measure the resistance between driver side air bag C307,[url=http://www.louboutin--pascher.fr/]chaussure louboutin[/url], circuit 1257 (WH/LB),[url=http://www.karenmillen--dresses.co.uk/]karen millen dresses[/url], harness side and driver side air bag C307, circuit 1258 (BN/LB), harness side. Is the resistance greater than 1.0 ohm?Yes REPAIR the circuit(s) as necessary. X6 CHECK THE DRIVER SIDE AIR BAG MODULE WIRING TO THE SEAT HARNESS Driver Side Air Bag Simulator
Inspect all crimps, terminals, wires and connectors in circuit 1257 (WH/LB) between the seat harness C307 and RCM C233 pin 2 and circuit 1258 (BN/LB) between the seat harness C307 and RCM C233 pin 3. Check for pinched wires and damaged connector pin terminals. Was any damage found?Yes REPAIR as necessary. GO to X8 . X7 CHECK FOR AN INTERMITTENT FAULT Refer to the continuous DTCs recorded during Step X1. Was the continuous DTC retrieved during Step X1 an intermittent fault?Yes CHECK for causes of intermittent high resistance on circuit 1257 (WH/LB) and circuit 1258 (BN/LB). Attempt to recreate the hard fault by flexing the wire harness and cycling the ignition key frequently. REPAIR any intermittent concerns found. X8 CHECK FOR ADDITIONAL DTCs Refer to the continuous DTCs recorded during Step X1. REACTIVATE the system. PROVE OUT the system. CLEAR all DTCs.
