Unclaimed bag causes fear in Vellore
Meanwhile, a cell phone with some wires found in an unclaimed bag near a Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) residential area at Ranipet in Tamil Nadu's Vellore district created a flutter with bomb disposal team from Chennai rushing to the spot to ascertain its nature.
Police rushed to the spot and were examining the contents of the bag. Further details were awaited.
The recovery comes days after the May 1 twin blasts on board the Kaziranga Express at the Chennai Central Railway Station that claimed a woman's life and a crude bomb explosion in Cuddalore district two days later in which five people were injured.
