MUMBAI: An alert constable of Railway Protection Force (RPF) foiled a major case of bag lifting worth nearly Rs 12 lakh at Panvel station by using his wits to arrest the crook.
The Panvel based RPF cop,[url=http://www.michaelkorshandbags-uk.co.uk/]michael kors watches[/url], Anil Sonule, noticed a young man carrying a ladies handbag early on Saturday morning, and so stopped him to question what he was doing with a woman's purse.
Even as the bag lifter, Subhan Ahmed (32), fumbled for words,[url=http://www.toms-outlets.us/]www.toms@#$%&[/url], and later even tried to bribe the cop in order to get away, the real owner of the handbag, Mary Soares (62), realised about the theft only after her train, Matsyagandha Express (Mangalore Goa Mumbai),[url=http://www.michaelkorsoutlet-canada.ca/]michael kors canada[/url], reached Kurla terminus.

Just then, a wireless message was sent out by Panvel GRP with regards to the ladies handbag containing gold, seized by the RPF constable.
"Constable Sonule was alone when he stopped the accused thief at the station, which was rather deserted at that hour. So, in order to buy some more time he played along with the bag lifter by chatting with him, while waiting for more cops to arrive and arrest Ahmed," said a Panvel GRP official.
The worried passenger, Mary Soares, then rushed to Panvel to identify her bag, which also contained her mobile phone and various documents.
"Police have assured us that we will soon get back the bag and the gold ornaments,[url=http://www.hermesbirkin-bags.us@#$%&/]hermes belts[/url], after the court directive. We also recommend Railway Police Force to award Sonule for his alertness and presence of mind to nab the thief," said a grateful Richard.
The accused is a resident of Madanpura in central Mumbai. A visiting card of a jeweller was also found on him. Further police investigation is on to find out if he had committed such similar crimes in the past.
