Bangor handbag firm founder sells business

Michael Sturdee, along with silent partner Gary Brewster, have purchased My Maine Bag from a local woman who founded the handbag manufacturing company 25 years ago.

Hannan Smith said Friday that she was not looking to sell the business,[url=http://www.bottes-uggpascher.fr/]uggs[/url], which includes a retail store at Bangor Mall, when Sturdee and Brewster inquired about it last fall. Sturdee, who last September sold Pat Pizza in Hampden after owning it for several years, said the company bags now can be found in stores from Maine to Florida. He said he would like to expand the company wholesale business to the Midwest and California and perhaps also into international markets.
