The matter was set for trial yesterday. Around midnight Anderson woke her up and began enquiring why she came home so late.During the confrontation Bristol claimed that Anderson threatened to kill her. She became fearful and reported the matter to the police. After the woman?s presentation, Anderson decided that he wanted to give a sworn statement about the incident.He took to the witness box and while being crossed examined, the Court found that Anderson?s story was not consistent. The Magistrate then asked Anderson to give one reason why he should not be jailed.To everyone?s surprise Anderson told the court that his reputed wife made up the story because she is aware that he is on a bond to keep the peace. Anderson went on to tell the court that some time in October last year he was charged for assaulting Bristol.According to Anderson he was placed on a one-year bond to keep the peace and he is convinced that this is why Daniels made the allegation. After being told of the bond the court decided to check its records and it was found that Anderson was indeed placed on a bond for assaulting Bristol.The Magistrate then told Anderson that he would be sentenced to six months in prison for breaking the bond.
