Nikolo,
Thanks for confirming this for me. Glad to know I'm not "reading into it" too much! I wasn't sure if this was fact or something just added in the storyline. I'm trying to do a little research on these characters, but there is just so much to learn about them!
I guess it makes sense that the Queen "fancies" Michel, because after looking at the lyrics for "Caught Up In A Rush", I see where King Henry II says "I need another woman and I tell you no lie" + "I'm looking for someone, someone with an angel face" + "And I need another lover for to set me free." I guess that fits into the storyline that the King & Queen weren't happy together... all the better for her to fancy Nostradamus!
While doing a little reading on this subject, I thought it was interesting to note that the Queen traveled 2 years and 3500 km to visit Nostradamus, in a time when the country was decimated by the plague and internal strife. Apparently they weren't very welcome by the townspeople wherever they went, still the Queen was determined to visit him... presumably under the guise of showing her son all of France, since one day he'd be the ruler. I also thought it very fitting for your storyline, that NO ONE knows (to this day) what Nostradamus and the Queen talked about (or did) once they met and spent time together!
Good stuff....
